Taxi
ADDRESS FOR TAXI DRIVER “APARCAMIENTO AL FINAL DE CALLE MANUEL MARIN, NERJA”
The easiest way to arrive is to come by taxi – the taxi can drop you off opposite the front door of the building in the car park at the very end of Calle Manuel Marín (picture below). The street the apartment is on is pedestrianised so you can’t drive down it, don’t give the taxi driver the building address or they will have to drop you at the wrong end of the street.
Once you are here you don’t need a car as everything is in very easy walking distance. We recommend the following Nerja based taxi company – they know exactly where they are going and are cheaper than getting a taxi at the airport.

When giving the address to the taxi driver tell them you are going to Plaza Cavana and to drop you off at the Giner de los Rioscar car park at the very end of Calle Manuel Marín – the building is directly opposite the pedestrian exit (shown at the bottom of the picture below):-

Hire Car
If you decide to hire a car, please allow extra time to collect the car from the hire company (bear in mind there are usually queues at the hire desks) and please work out in advance what route you are going to take – Nerja is a small old town with a confusing one way system, we recommend that you put your destination in your navigation app on your phone.
Driving Directions
If you are driving here, the easiest way to find the apartment is to go straight to the municipal car park at Plaza de España – the entrance is on Calle La Cruz. On Google Maps search for “parking balcon de europa” – link below.

Alternatively there is also a small car park, photo below, (Parking de Giner de los Rios – €1 to park) opposite the apartment – if you are very lucky you might find a space here, or you can stop by the steps just to drop off the luggage and passengers.

From The Motorway
Leave the A7 motorway at exit 292 and head down towards the sea. You will cross several roundabouts (go straight on at each one) – you will pass the Carrefour supermarket on the right – carry until you come to either Castilla Perez on the right (turn here for the small car park near the flat) or Calle La Cruz on the right (it is signposted “P Ayuntamiento” for the main car park).
The entrance to the car park is almost at the end of Calle La Cruz on the right – look out for Hostal Doña Carmen on the corner.
You can also put “Calle La Cruz Nerja” into your satnav and follow that to the car park entrance.
Once you have parked, leave the car park by the pedestrian exit at the south and walk through the town hall (“ayuntamiento”).
Then turn right by the church into Calle Carmen.
You will find Calle Diputacion on the other side of Plaza Cavana. The view below is from the church side of the square.
The flats are on the corner of Plaza Cavana,, above the Ale Hop gift store, and the entrance is the black door (on Calle Diputacion)

By Bus
You can get the bus from Malaga centre (if you are coming from the airport you need to take the train or the bus first to Malaga centre). The bus station in Nerja is on Avenida Pescia. The directions from here are the same as for driving above.
Turn right into Calle San Miguel, then find the turning for Calle La Cruz on the left, then go into Plaza de España on the right. Cross over Plaza de España and turn right along the side of the church. Plaza Cavana is the square just past the church.
